Our friend Rae with the Rescue Sister Alliance came across this beauty who was brought in by her owners.
Her name is Susie. She was brought in on Monday, 1/28/2013 after fourteen years of being a loving pet. No reason was given, but she's very sweet and has no obvious health or behavioral issues that anyone has noticed.
She's a special Labrador Retriever who is looking for a nice warm place to sleep. If you're interested in fostering her, you can contact the Rescue Sister Alliance through Rae.
Of course, if you look into Susie's eyes and know that she's the dog for you and you can give her all the loves that she deserves through her golden years then you can contact the shelter directly at:

(By the way... her name isn't Susie. We're not sure what it is, but she deserves a name and looks like a Susie to us.)

If you or someone you know can find a place better than a cold hard floor for Susie to stay, please reach out to one of the contacts above. Like all of our seniors, time is of the essence.
