I am desperately trying to find a rescue to take in two dogs that are due to be put to sleep tomorrow because their owner doesn't want them and won't put effort into finding them homes. I am only a foster, and a home renter, and I am at my landlord's 4 pet limit. All this was originally set off by a report to Animal Control for neglect which was dismissed.
Both dogs have had little to no human contact for years but are desperate for love! 1 dog is corgi mix, tied to a post continuously for past 4 years. Reported after he was seen in freezing rain with no shelter. Other is a black herding breed who looks terrified all the time but gets happy when she sees other dogs. Owner says she will not leave yard even if gate is open.
